Parking

Parking is on Cambridge Street, further down Oak Road, further down the hill from the Visitor Centre or on a pay and display car park in Lodge Road. Very limited disabled parking may be available on site with prior arrangement.

oak house museum

Large, timber-framed yeoman farmer's house dating back to the early 17th century. The house was the home of the Puritan Turton family. A plaque on the wall records that Wesley preached in the courtyard in March 1774.
