Wesley Memorial Methodist Church and site of the first meetinghouse in Oxford, both in New Inn Hall Street are close by, as is Oxford Castle with a heritage area and the 'Wesley Cells'.
John Wesley became a Fellow of Lincoln College. Today the college keeps a 'Wesley Room' as a memorial to John and the 'Holy Club' and there is a commemorative plaque in the Chapel Quad (quadrangle) marking the actual site of John Wesley's rooms.
