Situated in small memorial garden on the site of Old St Marylebone Church graveyard, indicating where Charles Wesley and members of his family are buried.
Shortly before he died on 29 March 1788 Charles asked to be buried as a member of the Church of England in this churchyard.
Charles lived and died in nearby Great Chesterfield Street (now Wheatley Street): a plaque on the King's Head public house marks the site.
