Situated in 300 acres of woodland and farmland, the Beamish Museum illustrates life in the north east of England in the early 1800s and 1900s, through living history exhibits.
The Wesleyan Methodist chapel in the museum's Pit Village was brought from Beamish village to this early twentieth-century colliery village recreation.
Occasional choir recitals and carols at Christmas and annual Harvest Festival and traditional Sunday School Anniversary celebrations – contact the museum for details.
